Hi, I’m Stacia, and I’m the owner of Hummingbird Memory Co. 

The idea for Hummingbird Memory Co. began after I spent time digitizing all of my old home movies and family photographs as a Christmas gift for my son. While going through everything, I realized there were so many videos and pictures from his childhood that he had never even seen before, memories that had been sitting on shelves for years, slowly deteriorating and fading with time. I couldn’t help but think about how much of his childhood could have been lost forever if something had happened to those tapes and photographs. 

I’m so thankful I took the time to preserve everything digitally and make copies for my immediate family. Now our home movies and photographs are easy to browse, share, and enjoy on our computers, TVs, and even our phones. Over the holidays, we had the best time sitting together, laughing, reminiscing, watching old videos, and looking at pictures we hadn’t seen in years.

That experience made me realize just how many other families probably have boxes of videotapes and photographs holding memories they haven’t seen in decades. I wanted to help other families rediscover those moments and have the same peace of mind that comes from knowing their memories have been preserved.

That’s how Hummingbird Memory Co. began.

With my background in photography and photo editing, preserving photographs was a natural extension of that idea. In addition to digitizing home movies and photographs, I can carefully restore and enhance aging photographs and help preserve other meaningful family keepsakes, including handwritten recipes, journals, letters, and other memorabilia.

I know how precious these memories are and how important it is to know they’re being handled with care. Your memories stay right here with me throughout the digitization process, so there’s no need to mail away your irreplaceable originals. I handle each item myself from start to finish and give your family’s memories the same care and attention I would want given to my own. 

There’s something incredibly special about hearing the voices of loved ones again, seeing people and places you may not have seen in years, and reliving moments that can never truly be replaced.

Hummingbird Memory Co. grew from my desire to preserve those moments for my own family. Now, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to help other families preserve theirs.
