No. I offer convenient local drop-off and pickup in the Athens area, so your irreplaceable photos, videotapes, and other keepsakes do not have to be shipped through the mail. 

I currently digitize VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, Hi8, and Digital8 tapes. If you have a videotape format that isn’t listed, feel free to contact me. I may be able to digitize it or help you determine what type of tape you have. 

Digital downloads are available at no additional charge, or your files can be saved to a high-quality dual USB/USB-C flash drive for easy viewing on compatible computers, TVs, tablets, and phones. Flash drives are available for an additional charge based on the storage capacity needed for your project. 

Yes. If you already have home movies or photos stored on CDs, DVDs, external hard drives, or other digital media, those files can be added to your flash drive so your family media can be kept together in one convenient place. 

My primary goal is to preserve your photos and home movies as true to the original as possible. Your digitized files are preserved in their natural state, without automatically changing or altering how they look. Photo restoration and enhancement services are available as a specialty add-on for customers who would like damaged, faded, or aged photographs improved. 

Yes. Your original items are returned to you. Digitization creates digital copies of your memories and does not replace your originals. 

Yes. Additional flash drives can be purchased so multiple family members can have their own copy. I encourage customers to either purchase additional copies or make their own backups so their memories are stored in more than one place. Having multiple copies provides added peace of mind and helps ensure these special memories are preserved and available to enjoy for generations to come.
